Our Mission: Craft Beer For The Soul!
We aim to produce high-quality batches for the local community by dedicating our efforts towards high-quality ingredients, quality production, quality individuals, and great beer.
The beer is the byproduct of our love for creating and crafting something that can be shared with family and friends.
Our Vision
At Smittox, we are going to craft you a diverse and exciting brewery. Serving as the go-to hangout spot, Smittox will be a welcoming environment that promotes diversity and inclusion through our love of craft beer and music. We want to use our experience to break down some of those barriers to pave the way for minorities looking to get into the craft beer industry.
Meet the Team
Smitty
Owner and Brewer
Smitty founded Smittox Brewing with a simple vision: brew great beer with the same creativity and authenticity that defines hip-hop. Through Smittox, he combines craft, culture, and community. “The goal is very simple, I want to create beers that are diverse, thoughtful, and unapologetically original that are designed to bring people together.”

Michael
Marketing and Event Director
Michael, known around Dallas as Finley, brings a deep love for beer, culture, and community to Smittox Brewing. As Marketing & Events Director, his goal is simple: make every guest feel welcome the moment they walk through the door. With 11 years in the beer industry and experience in arts management, he helps connect people through thoughtful events, good conversation, and great beer. When he is not helping steer things behind the scenes, he is probably planning his next trip (26 countries and counting), listening to DJ Screw, or talking travel and beer in the taproom.

Jeremiah
Brewer
Jeremiah brings a scientist’s curiosity and a brewer’s creativity to Smittox Brewing. From his Indiana roots to his work with local breweries and community-focused programs at Purdue, he has always looked for ways to mix craft with purpose. Through brewing, Jeremiah is focused on creating thoughtful, original beers that amplify underserved voices and invite more people into the conversation.

A Xennial from the Bronx, raised in Rhode Island, and now rooted in Texas for the past 16 years, Jessie brings a grounded, easygoing energy to Smittox Brewing. With just as much time spent in the industry, she understands the value of good beer, good company, and creating spaces where people feel at home. Whether she is out enjoying movies, comedy shows, and concerts with friends or recharging at home gaming with Luna and Milo (the two dopest cats in DFW), she brings authenticity, connection, and personality to everything she does.

Erik

Erik brings a welcoming spirit to Smittox Brewing with a simple goal: help every guest find a beer they connect with. Through conversation, curiosity, and a love for unique styles like Flanders red ale, he helps make the taproom feel approachable, thoughtful, and fun. “The goal is simple, I want people to feel comfortable exploring new beers, sharing what they enjoy, and finding something that brings them back. Swing by, tell me your favorite beer style—or your favorite horror movies.”
